Optimists are right. So are pessimists. It's up to you to choose which you will be. --Harvey Mackay

Hello people!
Gosh I'm a bad blogger!
Had good intentions all week!
I have projects on the go, but nothing's finished!

Was really cold a couple days this past week, lovely today though, and a friend & I went Greenhouse hopping!
Is it me, or are the prices atrocious!? OMG!
Ray called, and I told him I spent all my allowance, and still need a shrub to replace the one he killed last year with fertilizer!
We started out at a greenhouse about 1 hour & 45 minutes away.
Vanessa met us there so I gave her her birthday present!
Which she opened, so I can show you her card!

The outside...remember, her favorite color is blue, and it has to have a dragonfly on it!

This is the inside, and that darn ribbon kept wanting to fall inside the top present!
I found the tutorial here, then adapted it!
I always make a rough copy....don't you?!

The little button?!
Ink smear....isn't that why they invented embellishments?!
It wasn't like I could turn the card stock over, and re-stamp!!!

I also got my potatoes planted this week!
Forgot to wear my gloves......until I had 3 holes left!
I have raised garden beds people;
so I use a hand trowel!
42 non hills of potatoes, cause I plant them to China!

Tried to find you a link to my gardens, but the internet is working crappy tonight!
I should have pictures of them about last June.
When it snowed!
And I had all my plants planted!
Had to cover them for a few days!

Anyhoo........
tomorrow is Mother's Day!
The kids sent me a lovely bouquet of flowers!

On the agenda for me tomorrow is some yard work,
and hopefully the darn wind quits so I can burn stuff!

Have a great day tomorrow peeps, Happy Mother's Day, and I'll talk to ya later!

Ta ta for now!

Happy Mothers Day Gail.
The card is (as the kids say) way cool !! I think it would work well for a wedding or shower card, don't you?
Ow that blister looks sore.
The grad was gorgeous. My camera befell a human caused accident so I don't know if I can retrieve a pic of Breanne or not. If not I will see if I can pull it off Facebook as her sister posted a family pic.

Hope you had a Happy Mother's Day Gail. Love the pop-up presents and the addition of the button to cover up the mistake, looks good and we would never have known, LOL. Hope the hand is on the mend! Lovely flowers too.

What a gorgeous card, Gail! And yes, that's one beautiful bouquet you got there. I hope to be back on the blogging trail again soon... it seems it will be a while before I'll be paper crafting again, though, as a vacation is coming up. FINALLY!
