I don't know where to start...it's been too long!
I'll show you the last stamp club goodies we did before Kalen came home, then you can skip the rest of the post if you're so inclined!

Took lots of pictures of wildlife etc!

This is 2 swans, and I know you can't see them really well, but I liked the reflection of the sun on the water!

This was the March basket for Bryan & Lacey!

We had awesome dessert for Easter!

Of course we made Tarimisu in case it didn't turn out!

And we have the obligatory family picture!

We took Kalen to GP 2 weeks ago.

We visited with 2 of Ray's sisters & their families, and an aunt & uncle over the weekend,

Put Kalen on the plane on the 15th!

Then I played catch up!

Catch up with the laundry, house cleaning, gf's, getting my shit stuff together, making a few cards, etc!

Last week, I had a meeting, dinner with the gf's, went to the movie (Hunger Games/I read the books BEFORE there was talk of a movie!), did Happy Hour at the OFH, and yesterday I took Shadow for her yearly check up in PR; an hour away!

I hope to do a few more cards this week!

I only have 1 meeting!

It has rained until it feels like monsoon season.....

It's supposed to be nice today!

It should be a good day for finishing the shed Kalen made his dad put shelves in so it could be cleaned & organized!

Kalen also told me my jars had to find another place to live; that was before the shelves!

House Mouse Challenge # 118

Craft A Scene Challenge # 4

Our April challenge is all about silhouettes. Believe me, I needed a dictionary to help spell that word. What is a silhouette you ask? According to Merriam-Webster a silhouette is "a likeness cut from dark material and mounted on a light background or one sketched in outline and solidly colored in."

I really enjoyed making this card for Craft A Scene!
I need to thank my friend Carol from CraftinGranny's Card Shack for sending me here to get a cloud template.
Hope I did that right!
I still need to practice, my clouds look more like storm clouds than the fluffy white clouds in a BLUE sky, I think I might have got the wrong Ice Blue; but I'll keep trying!

Just a quick note peeps!

Nothing's wrong, my Navy son is home!

He arrived on March 30th, we did his birthday, Easter, have been doing lots of visiting with friends and relatives......we are taking him to GP on Friday night for more of the same, and will put him on the plane Sunday!

Here he is making his own birthday pie!
I'll NEVER hear the end of that one!

A measuring cup, you can just see on the left with a red bottom, it's for pouring out pancake mix or something!

He's done a few things to his house in town; they laughingly call me the property manager.....I'm so happy we have good renters this time! KNOCK ON WOOD!!!
We've baked, cooked, and played outside, still wet here with melting snow, but the geese, swans, ducks, & crows are back, and the trees in the back 40 look like they'll burst into leaf any day!


I've been working on a few things!

You KNOW you'll get your fill of pictures when I have a real minute!

Now you know I'm at least thinking of you, and I have popped into a few blogs....mostly from work...hahahaha!
