It's been raining off and on so I had a bit of a craft hour or two!

I really should be working on my CCC card! Instead I made this birthday card for Kalen! His birthday is April 1st and always sneaks up on me!

It's a Double Z Fold that I found over here!

I found the inspiration on Pinterest (type in fungi). Kalen picks mushrooms. Papers are Photoplay and Doodlebug. Mushrooms are Brutus Monroe, colored with Ohuhu markers and fussy (shudder) cut. Little envelope, and foliage from my LST kits. Snail, Bubble Word Dies, and HB sentiment are SU. Words in bubbles are computer generated. Little mushroom faces are from a Lawn Fawn set. Had to make it fun after last years creation!

As You Like It Favorite: Feminine or Masculine Theme (And Why) I make mostly feminine with flowers, embellishments etc. Guy cards are usually on an as needed basis!

Allsorts Week 817 Shades of Blue or Anything Goes

Hope you are well!

It's Liz over at Allsorts for the next fortnight. She would like to see Shades of Blue. There is also the Anything Goes option. 

We also have a guest designer! It's Carol!

I should have save this card for this challenge!!

 I used a Stampendous House Mouse Designs/ Happy Hoppers called Hoppy Moments. The trees are SU. I stamped and masked off the image to blend my blue sky and stamp the trees; then colored the kite and image with Ohuhu markers. I took embroidery floss and did the kite tail string and string for the kite. The sentiment is Concord and 9th. Image is mounted on navy cardstock on a white card base, and a few enamel dots from my stash.

This is a House Mouse stamp from Stampendous called Warm Mug.

SU sentiment and Spellbinders embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment on the patterned paper. It got lost in the embossing, so redid it and die cut it! (Sentiment was also crooked!)

CCC January 2025

The Card Chain Challenge reveal for January 2025 should be up!

After Decembers Tic Tac Toe this was a piece of cake!

I went with the color palette, Friendship, and Spinner.

Only, sorry Linda, might be a faux spinner!! 

 

It's a tri fold (?) card. 

It's pretty tight! Note to self; get some bigger round dies!

Allsorts Week 816 Romance/ Music or Anything Goes

It's my turn to host over at Allsorts!

I have chosen Romance or Music or there is the Anything Goes option!

I have incorporated Romance and Music on my card.

 I have used AALL and Create Poetic Lyrics #686.

I wasn't able to find it on their site, however, if you just do a general search, it pops up. It's available at Simon Says Stamp and a few other places.

The blue and white cardstock are die cut with Stampendous. The embossed blue is a music folder from SU. I colored my image with Ohuhu markers, and die cut the open heart and sentiment in gold from LRDS Creative! Can't find it on their site either! When I win gift cards etc. from stores in the USA, I usually shop the sale items, cause the shipping is crazy; it all evens out! Make sense!? So new to me stuff may be old or retired!

Prizes this time are random stamps and stencils from AALL and Create!
