Keep your heels high and your standards higher.

 Hello, hope you are well!

I have been creating here and there when I have a minute!

I made this, and my GF that Facetimes once a week says, 'it's not my favorite.'

I said, 'It's not mine either, but some kid will get this and love it!'

And honestly, this is a re-do!

I had the House Mouse lobster on my desk. He needed to be put on a card before he got lost! The spiders are stamped and embossed and the rest are stickers and embellishments!

House Mouse & Friends Challenge #475 Anything Goes or Pumpkins You have to use a House Mouse, Gruffy or Happy Hopper

Two Old Bats October 2026 Anything Goes Halloween

Our public library is doing a Fund A Friday. Money from the government has not increased since 2009 or something crazy like that! And we want our librarians to have a living wage. The committee has raised almost $70,000, so today the library is open! It's a trial for 3 months. The fundraising campaign will go until the end of December 2026.

I have been busy wrapping Blind Date with a Book. Tomorrow and Sunday is the Pumpkin Hayride. I volunteered to help both days with the sign-in and waiver. (I am too short to help people onto the wagons!) Weather's supposed to be good! The Friends of the Library book sale goes the weekend after Thanksgiving, which is October 12th in Canada. The Fundraising committee has a booth in Spirit Square for Light up the Town at the end of November, and that's what we're wrapping books for! We took 100 Blind Date with a Book the the Fall Fair, and came home with 4.

I am still stocking the book-room at the library, doing my shift at the Tuck Shop, Scrabble, and visiting my mom daily. There's also a municipal election coming up, so am going to a town hall, there's a Federal Election in October too. Window washing is in the near future and I will survive!

Have a lovely weekend!

Talk to ya later!

CCC September 2026

Hello!

Hope you are well!

It's time for the who sent what to whom in the Card Chain Challenge world!

This is what we worked with:

Colour Palette Option
(Exact matching is not required.)

Sketch Option

(Orient as desired)

Theme Options: Cute and Funny / The Great Outdoors / Friendship

Product / Technique Options: Stencils /  Tone-on-Tone inking

I made this for Kathy in the U.K.!

It's odd, I know!
I used the colors, the sketch, the great outdoors (that's where we find our mushrooms), Friendship and stenciling!
The mushrooms are Brutus Monroe, feathers are Lawn Fawn, circle die is Sweet Pea, and the sentiment is Woodware. Good gravy that's quite an assortment!
I also sent Kathy a card in June, but she was just happy to have mail coming!

You still have time to sign up for October!
Talk to ya!
