I made this ATC with a stamp from AALL and Create. Blended with SU ink, colored with Ohuhu markers. Stickles for the flower centers, and a butterfly Linda sent me with Mays CCC!

I am getting ready to go up north!!

However, we've had a bit of excitement here! The kids are away for a week. We have been having horrible winds, and last week the wind broke a branch off the massive maple tree in the backyard. I asked Kalen about it before they left, and he said he wasn't going to worry about it! I said, well I am! We called it 'the Death Branch.' 

 

Kalen arranged for a friend (it's what he does) to come take the branch down. Was a massive branch off of the massive tree. You can see on the right there's a piece of plywood on the window. The window's new! The table in the forefront was sitting right where the branch is!

The branch is all piled up in a corner of the backyard, and I will clean up, and put the deck back together later this afternoon! I am filling in at Canasta today! I have watered the garden, and cleaned the front deck! It has not been very warm here!

Last Friday I had an extra shift at the Tuck Shop. I had an appointment in the afternoon, and a friend coming to make Pineapple, Rhubarb Strawberry jam. Told her to bring everything but the rhubarb. She came at 4, and by 5:05 we were at an art exhibition for one of the Canasta ladies! Was a busy day!!

We are having our Easter meal today. Emma brought her mom home from rehab/ physiotherapy- she has Gillian Barre syndrome and has been in the hospital since October. It's a pot luck affair and will happen at 5:30pm!

I spent yesterday visiting my mother, telling her I would pick her up at 5 tonight. she called as soon as I got home to tell me that she wasn't coming! Hahahaha! We'll have another go round when I go visit her this morning! She also needs a haircut! If she's not open to that I am telling her that I will cut it with dull scissors and a bowl!

Yesterday I made Hummus! It was labor intensive. Dirtied every small appliance you hate to clean (food processor and bullet), but is so good! I made garlic and pepper. I love Hummus!

I also got my sweet potato casserole ready for today, and my raisin sauce for the ham. The ham is in the slow cooker as we speak!

I had to get everything ready as I am playing Canasta today at 1pm! I am the filler inner! They call me when someone is away, and one  of the crew is in Greece!

Our weather has been lovely during the day, but still quite cool at night!

 The bright Springy paper is probably Doodlebug! I used an old stamp called Dandelion Wishes from Hot Off The Press. I stamped it in black, then clear embossed!

I made an ATC with things sitting on my desk.

 The Graphic 45 paper had been sitting there forever! That tiny piece! I was happy to see it had numbers on it!

I stenciled with a Sizzix heart stencil, and the word LOVE and die cut hearts were mostly LDRS! That took care of things that needed a honme or were headed to the bin!

I have made an ATC.

 It's for Tag-along (and ATC's) January challenge!

I sprayed with my Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Candy Apple Red. Which I usually save for Halloween as it always looks like blood splatter! I stamped (SU) the words, snail, hearts & flowers with a red ink, then clear embossed them. Wrapped with twine, and done! It is very sparkly IRL!

I missed Scrabble today. I picked up a cold/ flu somewhere. Apparently it's evil and been going around! Made me wonder, as my haunts lately has been Canasta, Library, Hospital and Tuck Shop! So I will pretend it's Covid all over again, and use hand sanitizer and wipes!!

A bit rusty, but it's Anything Goes!!

I sprayed with Glimmer mist, stenciled, used grey and black ink to stamp. I used AALL and CREATE Light Bulbs #23 and Miniatures #756.
