I have used Lavinia Book of Spells and Ink Pot. I have used SU ink, metallic pens, a sentiment from LDRS that was heat embossed. Kraftin Kimmie Whimsical Winds stencil and Recollections bling!

I made an ATC.

  I made this today! I'm going to a wine and cheese party tonight. I punched a hole  in this, it will be used as a tag for the hostess gift.

I don't have a clue where the dies are from, and the background piece was cut down out of a snippet of card  stock! And it Sparkles!!

I looked after the upstairs dogs today. Koda is a mini Pitbull and is a Princess. Clyde is a Merle Border Collie and he just chills. He needs someone to throw a ball. All. Day.  One person was working, and the other had meetings, and there was a window being installed! We did fine! I got the treats made for my Scrabble group. I entertained dogs. I got my things together for a wine and cheese party I am attending tonight.

Tomorrow I am going to  a Christmas Market at the greenhouse. Then out to West Creston with a friend for a Christmas Craft Fair. Not sure if we will be back for the Blossom Valley choir for their Christmas concert.

I have made a Christmas card, and before you jump all over me...I was going for a new pet. If that doesn't work, my stamp and stencil are NEW!

 I have used an AALL & Create stencil - Circular Disruption and the cat from Cheesed to Meet You! The sentiment is computer generated, the tree is SU Holiday Happiness. I have stenciled with SU inks, colored with Ohuhu markers, and used glossy accents on his eyes and baubles.

I have used a Stampendous House Mouse stamp called Hedgehog Holiday. It's colored with Ohuhu markers and metallic gel pens for the ornaments! Cut out with Stampendous dies and the sentiment is Creative Expressions Christmas Blessings. The twine is out of my stash and the wreath charm is Craft Consortium.

I made a quick trip up north for Bryson's birthday. Weather was good.

Home until it's warmer and the winter tires can come off!

Busy baking, made poppycock, took on another volunteer job, Christmas craft sale was last Saturday. The last play of the year for our drama group was this past weekend too! Now there's the towns choir, and band, and I'll probably go to all! 

Had my car in the shop again today. I have not had interior lights since I got it. And my newfangled car messages me to tell me!!!! It's a hybrid. 2 batteries. One hasn't been working! In the summer I don't notice the non lights, but in the winter I need one of those headband flashlights to get my things out of the back and the back seat. They assure me it's fixed!

I have a wine and cheese party to attend next week. A few other social events before Christmas!

I am feeding the kids tomorrow night so we will discuss Christmas. I don't know if I told you that Emma's mom has been in the hospital for months. She has Gullain-Barre syndrome. She was away for some rehab, but is back in our hospital. Her fingers are starting to work again, but she's in a wheel chair and can't transfer herself. Or stand. She's working hard. She might be able to go to one of the seniors homes in town for 7 weeks respite. It's a slow process.

 I got the inspiration for this card over here! The sentiment is LDRSCreative (not on their site), stamped and embossed in gold. I used a tree from SU/ Lovely as A Tree, and 3 colors of SU ink.

I have made a lumpy ATC!

  Haha! This months challenge at Tag-alongs (and ATC's) November challenge, is to use texture. I have used a Brutus Monroe stencil for the background. I have also used yellow ink, which doesn't show up well! I glitter glued a piece of netting over that! Added the heart and arrow which are wooden, and a crocheted flower (I made) with a brad in the center. Funny thing is, I have a friend who will love this creation!

Anyhoo, this is part of a SU Paper Pumpkin set. Was to make little note cards. I don't have anyone to give them too and you can't mail them, so they will become regular cards! I found some fall leaves DP and mounted the whole works on a Kraft card base!

When I hear Christmas Colors, I think Christmas, and I have used red and white! 

 

I have used an old SU stamp called Snow Swirled, and the Triple Time stamping technique. The sentiment is stamped and embossed and is also SU. I have added a few gems where I smeared the little snowflake stamp!

Been busy creating!! I missed it! 

Sarah is the host over at Allsorts this fortnight! She would like to see woodland critters. There's the Anything Goes option too!

 I used SceneScapes Autumn Hues. Can't find it on their site. Found it here! Bell Flower Vine, Pipin, Seed Head and Forest Lanterns. I used a stampscapes stamp for the rocks at the base. Sentiment is Concord and 9th.

Whoa, I struggle with little scenes! I love them, they look fantastic; I probably over think them! The paper makes them easier!

When Bryson was here this summer, this odd colored Hopper was on my desk. I had been gifted some Nuvo Shimmer, and had a play. He asked me what I was going to do with it. I said, I wasn't sure, as it didn't turn out how I pictured it in my head. He said, I could make it into his birthday card. So I did! 

This is an accordion fold I got over here! The image is from Stampendous called Cake Nibbler.

This is a large Woodware stamp called Nature Page. I tried to find it online; the places I looked said it was Discontinued/ Out of Stock. That was in Canada.

This is a large stamp, I picked the part with a bird on it.

Tag-along (and ATC'S) September Things With Wings 

Triple B: September Challenge They like to see Birds, Blooms or Butterflies 

I had Bryson this summer. Holidayed up north for a bit, then we came to Creston July 18th.

Just before I left, the kids and I looked at a house. We have been looking for one with a suite in the basement for a while. We put an offer in, and it was accepted. Thank goodness for docusign. We bought a house while I was 1500 kms away!

Possession date was July 30th. I gave notice at the place I rent. Bryson and I did get our jam made! This year was Apricot, Blueberry, Cherry and Golden Plum. I got sick the first week of August. My landlords, kids, friends (it takes a village) stepped up to take Bryson to his camps and swimming lessons! I managed to take him to camp and swimming the second week, but had to stay out of the pool area. Too humid and hot and I couldn't breathe. He asked if I could try it for his last day. I made out ok as it wasn't so hot out, and was cloudy! He passed his lessons! 

No one knows what I have. It's my own little plague. I ended up in the hospital emergency for a day. Lots of tests, I didn't see my mom for a week because we didn't know if I was contagious. I am not! I haven't given it to anyone. It's nuts. Bryson helped with the move and was invaluable for an 8 year old! I sold a few things so I wouldn't have to move them! People are incredulous; that I was sick, had Bryson, and moved. Things have to get done people!!

I took Bryson back to Alberta to give him to his parents on August 29th. He started school Tuesday September 2nd.

Now we are emptying storage units! Down to one. Another move, another ruthless clean out! I set the things out. Look at them for a day or two. Have I used/worn this? Will I? A LOT has gone to the thrift store again!!!

My craft area!? In my dining room! I have a huge kitchen. I can put a small table with chairs in there if I'm so inclined. There's also room for 4-5 chairs at one of the counters. I have 2. So far. 

 There you have the rest of the story! I am not moving again until I have to go to the old folks home!

 Must have been in a hurry. My pic is crooked! This is a card made in a class I take online every 2 months from Scrapbook and Cards; called Let's Stamp Together. Stamps, dies and stencils are from Scrapbook and Cards, and were part of their 19 Birthday celebration! Parts of the streamers are glittered with paste! I made 3 cards in this class, there are 2 bonus cards I will make another day!

I have used a Hero Arts Butterfly Circle stencil. SU inks, And a butterfly and shadow from AALL and CREATE from Nature's Doily #43 set. I used sparkle card stock for the shadow and velum for the butterfly.

Allsorts Challenge #828 Pretty Flowers

I am finding things in my stash that are new to me! Flower & leaf dies might be Spellbinders (?) I have so many I haven't used! Most just on magnetic sheets in an industrial grade binder (weighs a ton). And the yellow embossed piece...Needed a home! The yellow paper was embossed! Good thing I'm not vying for a prize! Epic fail this round! The sentiment is SU. They are 'pretty' flowers!

Allsorts 827 For a Child/ Anything Goes

It's Challenge #827 Over at Allsorts and Liz would like to see creations For a Child. There is the Anything Goes option too!

 Using SU inks I blended a background of the sea and sky. The submarine and bubbles are SU. Fish are a Fiskers punch I used on a gelli print. I couldn't find my wobbles, so they have wobbly eyes and are popped up! The sun and sentiment are from Kraftin' Kimmie.

Prizes this fortnight are 3 Saturated Canary Stamps, and one House Mouse stamp!
