“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” — Mother Teresa

 Hello!

Hope you are all well!

The snow is slowly melting. I say that because there's still a bit in the shade and on the north side of the trees!

I'll show you the Birthday Card I made for Kalen, then you can get on with your day.

It might be a little R rated for some.

I have an emoji punch board!

Who knew there was such a thing! I bet you're surprised to find out that I have things in my crafty stash that I have never used!?

Anyhoo, in with the shaker stuff, I put little half moons that are supposed to glow in the dark. They do, and I should have put more. I also included 3 small fish. It's really quite cool!

Thursday night we went to the local theater groups performance of Bloody Murder.

The weather has been quite lovely when the sun gets up over the mountain! So have been doing yard work. I cleaned out the south side of the garden shed. I need to start on the north side, and get to the garage! Need to watch for shelves on the buy, sell for a reasonable price. Things are all over the floor and there's no rhyme or reason!

The pump quit yesterday outside in the hole. Water from the crawlspace is pumped out there, also ground water runs in from who knows where! From there it's pumped into the forest. Mom had a new pump in a box in her garage! A quick trip to town for a fitting (because we couldn't get the old one off) in my dirty clothes with the old pump in a pail, and we were in business! I decided I probably wouldn't see those people again in the hardware store! I even had a ball cap on. I need a haircut!

A few years ago my aunt asked me what I was wearing. I told her I was attending to yard work not a fashion show!

I cleaned off mom's little patio on the south side this morning. Put a little table with 2 chairs, so she had a place in the sunshine to enjoy her toast & coffee. I also added another 2 chairs, and a longer shorter table. It's a really nice little space in the yard. You can sit in the sun or shade.

Better go, working on Easter cards.

Stay safe, wash your hands!

Talk to ya later!

FARGIN - verb-(from the Yiddish): To feel joy in someone else's success

 Hello!

Today was the last day(3 hours) at my job for that chapter of my life.

I'm tired. I got upset and frustrated; then they lifted most mandates in BC. They thought I would change my mind. I didn't. I have principles.

Feels funny.

I told Vanessa, I have no plan.

Don't worry, I didn't burn any bridges, even made a few Thank You cards....of course there's no pictures!

However, I did make 2 more dress cards. And yes, they turned out. I also found more patterns to try, but I think I'm done with them for a moment.

Vanessa needed one for a friends birthday.

She also needed a Thank you card.

This was part of a kit, but it works.

Outside and inside. The striped paper in the top pic is the inside of the envelope! It is not attached!

The 'Popsicle' type shapes were actually the card. I cut them apart to adhere them to card stock.

I had got one of my dearest friends some Photoplay paper & Ephemera. Crafting with my Gnomies. So she got a dress card with her little package.

I also sent her a small eraser. I bought a package of 6 at the $$ store. It says they are Glue & Residue erasers. And they work! Wait until your glue dries! The link goes to Amazon, that's the make of them...Crafters Toolkit. I think I paid a couple dollars for 6 small ones!

Anyhoo, she got the last dress card.....for this round!

I find polka dots to be so much fun!

When making the dresses, the smaller the pattern on the paper, the better!

Our family reunion, which has been canceled since 2019 is a go this year. (So far!)

Our Provincial health officer says we can 'gather.'

It will be in July. My aunt & uncle are coming in May to see what they can help with. They haven't been here for years either!

I DID get Kalen's birthday card made, and printed out a lemon bar recipe, and one for lemon cups!

He's the child that, when he was 9 asked, why do we have birthday cake? I told him he could have whatever he wanted. It has been lemon meringue pie ever since! There will probably be one of those too!

That card will be another post.....I have more Easter cards to get made too!

Stay safe, I hope you're still washing your hands!

Talk to ya later!

If you have the right mind-set, you can be just as happy on Monday as you are on Friday~ Joel Osteen

Hello, hope you're all well!

I've made more dress cards.

Of course they have all turned out how they should. sigh

Moms St. Patrick's Day card has a dress!

Sent one to my cousin, who takes the cards I make her to work, and pins them up!

 Sent one to Vanessa.

She had surgery, so it was kind of a thinking of you.

I have two more on the go, (remember, everyone was getting one until I get it right!) and then I will put all my little dress pieces away for a minute.

I also sent Bryson another thinking of you card, when I sent a package after Christmas.

I am getting terrible at taking pictures of the cards I have been making!

Vanessa took this before Bryson was home from Kindergarten, as she can't open his mail, he'd be devestated!

I couldn't send Vanessa a card without one for my favorite small person.

Vanessa told me that she asked him to go wash his face.

He told her that gramma wouldn't mind if his face was dirty. Haha

I paper pieced this plane on the die.

It was easier than I thought it would be.

I really should use up that 'little boy' paper I have, because I'm sure he will be 18 next year!!

Kalen starts a new job next week, so he got a card.

Not a dress card, however, I do have to make him a

birthday card!

Kalen asked once why I had a sanding sponge in my craft stash. I told him to sand cards.

This is made with core'dinations cardstock, so I sanded it.

Better go, this working 5 days a week is for the birds!

Stay safe, wash your hands!
