Tired.......

After a whirlwind week of decorating, and having the Community Volunteer Appreciation, taking my peeps to Wal Mart on Friday, and having the Birthday Party/Happy Hour......I'm exhausted!
I'm trying to clean up my craft room. I got side tracked & made my mom a birthday card. I've included a picture!

I also made her a card box, and 10 assorted cards for her to give out to her friends. There should be a pic here with 5 of the cards! That's for her birthday....for some reason, buying the assorted home made cards at the Family
Rebellion last year entitles her to cards for life.....oh well!

Things are looking up! I thought the Kubota was sold, but the guy didn't come look at it. Ray will call tomorrow to see if he's still interested.
There's a contract on the kitchen table for 54 buffalo...now that will make a dent! We've got 5 babies, and no they're not cute...they have a face only a mother would love! I'll try to get a pic for next time. Personally I don't think they're cute until they have little nubby horns!
I've been doing laundry, my bags half packed. I leave for Red Deer for LACCA (Lodge Activity Coordinators Convention of Alberta) on Tuesday.
Tomorrow I go to my other job, and have a meeting at 4:30 pm.
Then I get back on Friday...probably late!
Kalen & Jason were here for supper. I asked Kalen if he could help his dad this week, cause I'd be gone.
He said, "OK, but there's gonna be some ground rules."
I said, "Here's your dad...tell him."
Kalen said, "We're starting before noon, and working until the afternoon, I don't wanna be stuck here all day!"
I think that's all that was said, but I told Kalen I have the same problem. I wake up at 6 or 7 am. By dinner time I've already done 4 or 5 hours of work, so when Ray rolls out of bed and gets his shit together, it's noon, and then he doesn't understand that I'm already winding down, to do what I want, and he's raring to go!
I can't do that!
Better go, see what else I can get packed, I'm really tired, but if I go to bed now, I'll be up at 4:00 am!

Oh Bother!

Well, I'm hoping Spring has sprung, even though we still have snow.
And I'm hoping the arthritis in my knee is letting me tell the weather like the OLD folks!
It got so bad last week, that I was losing sleep and limping...and I HATE that!
I found some anti inflammatories in my purse. (It's a BIG purse!)
So I asked my pharmacist if I could have a refill!?
She said, "those are really strong, maybe you should see the doctor."
I said, "How am I going to get in to see the doctor?"
As 2 are away and we had a locum!
She said, "Just call up there, maybe you can get in, and I'll give you a refill for 10 pills.
"10 pills!?", I said, "I'm supposed to take 3 a day!"
She said, "Well that will get you through 3 days."
So I called the clinic and managed to get in!
While I was there, I said I should have some test results back.
(Because when you've had cancer, every time you get a pain, everyone gets excited!)
Everything was NORMAL!
Mammogram normal, ultrasound normal, internal pelvic exam normal, no diabetes, liver good, sodium good, and cholesterol...he said, "I'm impressed....carry on."
So he asked if those anti inflammatories worked, I said yes, so he gave me a prescription for 60!
Meanwhile, I'm trying to only take 1 pill a day, but I'm at 2. Thought I'd get this under control in a day or two, and not take any.......NOT!
So we got through Kalen's birthday, this is a picture of his card I made.
I finished scrap booking Larry Volume 2.
Started tidying up the craft room, but still want to make my mom's birthday card, and a case for the home made cards I make for her to give out!
Cleaned up some of the yard yesterday, and put some ornaments out.
Waiting for DH (Mr. Procrastinator) to start with the fence so we can get rid of the buffalo! Otherwise we'll be staying home all summer. We already have 1 baby!
Well, it's almost time for me to get back in my room and clean some more, or maybe make a card or 2!'
OK, really I just want to watch HOUSE!

Almost Normal!?

Well...it DID start out like any other Monday!
I went to Buchinskis'....for 9 (NINE) hours!
Then rushed to my Friends of the Manning Library meeting.
I was coming home about 10 to 7 when I noticed some buffalo out.
I called Ray. "Where are you?"
Ray said, "I'm at Enders working."
I said, "You have buffalo out."
He said, "How many."
I said, "Half a dozen or more."
Ray," &%$#, and a few other choice words."
Me, "Want me to go over there?"
Ray, "Yea, just go open the gate, they'll go right in."
So I come in and put my BIG boots on,tied up the dog,(she is NOT a big help when the buffalo are out)and trotted over there.
I opened the gate, and the 5 (FIVE) buffalo took off!
So after a few minutes of coaxing, Ray called me on my cell.
Ray, "How are you making out?"
Me, " I can't get them to go in (read panic)."
Ray, " I'll have to come home....I'll get them in."
So while I'm waiting, I pleaded and begged, and threatened!
"If you guys (Yes they're guys) don't go in, Ray's coming home, then you'll be in trouble!"
"Pleeeeease go in!"
"Come on, you know you want to, the foods in there, and so are all the girls."
Well that did it....1 (one) went in!
So I backed up further, and told the remaining 4, that I was getting cranky and cold, and didn't they have enough fun? They toured the yard while we were gone!
And they went in!
I called Ray...."They're in!"
Ray, 'Do we know where they're getting out?" (Because we've fixed fence for ever, and it's melting now, so the fence should be higher than 3 feet!)
I told him, "I thought I did, but that wasn't the spot, I have no idea!"
So I stomped home, I stomp when I'm a little testy, and it's not easy to stomp in the melting slush with big boots, untied the dog, who cried the whole time I was over there, and came in.
Now I'm scared to look out a window...cause what if they're out again!?
