This card uses a stamp, stencil and die from Brutus Monroe.

I put the bee on a wobble! Because, why not! There's stickles on the balloon 'wings'!

Been trying to clean some clutter off my desk. You know how that goes. So many treasures! My work space can best be described as: There appears to have been a struggle! I found this paper & die cut, so made a card!

 This will go in an envelope for an aunt, who claims you can't buy Christmas cards anymore that say 'Merry Christmas".

The title reminds me of our family....You're entitled to your opinion. Doesn't mean you're right. Haha

Anyhoo, my moms friend mails her a package of newspaper clippings every month. The package usually includes different napkins. 

I thought this one was pretty, so I made one to send moms friend, and this card for my mom.

I used the napkin technique.

This is the one I sent moms friend.

 

The greeting is really a soft pink like the card base, the same color as the first card! I added the butterfly.

The weather is odd! Cool at night, and when the wind blows it's cold! The sun has been shining in the mornings!

I have cupboards to clean out, and I'd like to start washing windows. However, we have a crazy Robin, that continuously tries to get in. EVERYWHERE! There is bird $#!t all over, and the windows all have bird slobber on them. It starts before 6 am, and continues until dark!? EVERY. WINDOW. And before you tell me to shut the blinds, this bird is busy before the blinds are open! Sunshine, shade, it doesn't matter! There is bird poop ALL over all the furniture at the front door, and all over the deck floor. I'm scrubbing it all with bleach today....hopefully the smell will deter it from that area!? More first world problems!

I purchased a gelli plate. It was not only messy, it was fun! This card background is a 'mop up', that I stenciled and stamped on. I think my original 'mess' was too thick. I will practice! I also had glitter paint, so this has a nice sparkle!

Our weather has been quite nice. During the day!

Our volunteer that makes cards for the Tuck Shop where I volunteer, has been busy with a new house. So I spent some time this week making Mother's Day cards. I have an assortment of 12.

Hopefully someone will like them! Note to self.....don't make dress cards for your give away assortment! They are time consuming! I probably could have made another 12! Might have to anyway, but the dress cards are off the list! Haha

I also made 6 quilt cards to take to my aunt when I leave in June. Her quilt group makes quilts for people battling cancer! I have made the cards to go with for years. Of course there's no picture!

Here's my card:

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #387 - Anything Goes/ Option of Dots and/or Stripes

I DO have stripes, and dots, which you can hardly see!!

This card will be on it's way to a friend in Germany this week!

I have made goodies for Kalens' French Conversation group for the last 6-8 weeks. This is the card he brought for me!

 

I thought it was sweet and thoughtful....that they just didn't sign their names! Apparently they are going to continue until Spring(well, until we can all get out in our yards!). I asked Kalen if they needed cookies? He said we'd talk. Hahaha!

It has been pouring rain all day, and I think will continue into tomorrow! This should get rid of any remnants of snow on the north side of buildings, trees etc. Hope it lets up for a minute....I am getting my tires switched on Wednesday and have to get them out of the shed!! Also getting a haircut, before my shift at the Tuck Shop. Think I've just been lazy! It's like Covid hair all over again! I also have to make an appointment for a Covid Spring Booster, because I've never had Covid. Got a text even! Pretty sure we're going to live with this forever.

I got all my empty little boxes put together for the Tuck Shop. I made them with my matchbox die. Took them all to the Tuck Shop, and the lady in charge of us, asked if I'd take them back and put them together!

 

I guess these are a good seller. I made some for Mother's Day, and some for Father's Day. Good way to use up some cardstock that's just sitting around!

I really should be getting my homework done for SCT's Let's Stamp Together! It's tomorrow night. I have all my colors of cardstock picked out, just have to find inks that are similar colors to what the demonstrator will use! I'll gitter done!
