Way To Grow

It's my turn to host over at Allsorts this week.

For Week 787 I have chose Way To Grow. This can be gardens/ children, things that Grow!

There's also Anything Goes If you don't have flower/ garden images etc!

This was a very labor intensive card! Haha! I get something in my head, and it has to should be done!

I really don't know where I got the brick embossing folder with the cut out in it! It's old! The stone floor is a stencil called Rocky Road from Kraftin' Kimmie. The shopper and pots are from SU. Probably retired as I can't find it on their site. I picked it up for pennies at a Thrift shop! I fussy cut (ugh) the shopper, and 3 of the pots, and the leafy greenery on the left! The greenery is a mix of stamps & dies from SU, Brutus Monroe and Spellbinders. The colored parts were done with my Ohuhu markers. 

This will go to my plant crazy friend for her birthday!

Bees/ Blooms and Butterflies

It's week 786 over at Allsorts!

This week we want to see Bees/ Blooms and Butterflies! There is Anything Goes too, which is what I might be as I can't follow direction! 

I made this:

 

I created this masterpiece (haha) with scraps off my desk! The spellbinder die cut piece was there, the bird and branch (SU) cut out of a muddy looking gelli plate mop up! Sprayed the branch with shimmer. Embossed the back piece with a folder called birds and swirls. Added a word from AALL and Create Power of the Word. Added gems, and wallah. It IS beautiful!

Went to upload it. I did NOT have a Bee, there ARE two bloom-ish things on there, and NO Butterfly! Somewhere in trying to be creative I had BIRD stuck in my head! To try and save face I added the tiny little shimmery butterfly to the word! 

I will do better!!

Masculine/ Father's Day

It's Week 785! 

Over at Allsorts today, Brenda would like to see Masculine/ Father's Day on your creations! There's the Anything Goes option too!

 

 

 

I blended the background for a dusk look!? 

The moon was stamped in white, then I used an Illuminate ink over top to give it a shine. There are some stars stamped around the moon in the same ink, but they're hard to photograph! 

This is all SU stamps, dies and sentiment (Probably retired)! I've used my favorite Deckle Die from Stampendous to cut it out.

Flowers Galore

It's Lolo up this week at Allsorts for Week 784, and she has picked Flowers Galore as the theme this week! Of course there is always the Anything Goes option!

 

 

 

This is Altenew Build a Garden/ Dancing Poppies! I used a piece of black cardstock, and stamped the poppies in Versamark, then embossed in white. 

I mixed up some runny paint & spattered/splattered. I was this many years old the first time I spattered/ splattered on a card! 

The poppies were stamped, stenciled and die cut! I made Oriental Poppies. 

The vase is a stamp and die from SU. The sentiment came with the Poppy Stamps. Vase, poppies and sentiment are popped up.

I inked up the Diva Hopper cause she makes me happy. She's on a mission!

This a book binding card. I glued my twine into the fold for the spine!  Stencil is one of Faber-Castell a set of 10. It's OLD! Hopper is cut out with Spellbinders Labels Four. Image is colored with Ohuhu markers. Flowers/ leaves are Scrapbook & Cards, and Spellbinders. Twine, gems and charm from my stash, and that little purse opens!

Card Chain Challenge for May 2024

Today is the 2nd, so we get to see who sent what to whom over at the Card Chain Challenge reveal!

 My card went to Linda in Michigan.

I managed the Color Palette, the sketch (well sort of, now I uploaded my card I see I'm off a tad), I have a man in a hat, Friendship and Stenciling!

Lots of Layers

Sarah has picked the theme this week over at Allsorts for Week 783 and she wants to see Lots of Layers! There's also anything goes! 

 

I have used Spellbinders Kaleidoscope stamps and dies! If you look closely you will see that the diamond shapes in the oval have 3 layers!

Subtle layers; but they're there! This is a virtual card kit class that I subscribe to; and if you sift through the cards for display on the site, you will find this one. EF is from my stash! It's really a fun set and the possibilities are endless!
