Remember a million years ago, I told you I was a Fiskateer!?
I signed up at this site, last year.
We have to be active, and participate in swaps & stuff!
Remember in this post, I showed you a picture of the tags I made for the tag swap!?

Well yesterday I'm on the Fiskateers site, and I'm going throught the gallery....that's where people post their creations, and there was this!

This is Donna, Fiskateer #6036!

And to the left of her is a tag!

She did a LO challenge and used my tag! She thanked me under her photo!

If you're looking for the tag  in the picture from the post, it's the bottom right!

I thought it was soooo cool that she'd use it in a LO!

Couldn't wipe the smile off my face!

Of course I thanked her!

Just wanted you to know!

And Now I'm waiting impatiently for MY tags!

Almost everyone has theirs already!

OH well......I'll get happy mail one of these days.

Had a day from hell today! 9.5 hours at my other job!

It was challenging to say the least!

Did the stuff that HAD to be done for the end of the month!

Internet didn't want to work, and the accountant wouldn't call me back.......

I've printed off my e-mails...that's why I don't phone...want something to show.., and I've been trying to get in touch with them since January 12th!

So really, I wasn't leaving everything to the last minute!?

I'll be going back on Friday....all the hard stuff should be done! I'll get a day or two of reprieve before the madness starts again!

P & K are coming out Saturday to watch "The Golden Compass"! FINALLY!

Rested Up!

I haven't been going to my 'other' job on Saturdays for quite a while!
I NEED 2 days off!
Not that they're days off!
There's still the laundry, cleaning, cooking etc.!

Heard from the Ordinary Seaman today!
They got the weekend off for good behavior!
Spent it drinking it up in Barrie!

I've been making cards.
Here's one.

It's an easel card with envelope! I think it turned out pretty good.

I also received an e-mail about the million uses for coffee filters. I'm here to tell you that using them as wax strips for your eyebrows....works! The last package of strips for waxing I bought were about $8.00, and I was out!

So, went to the cupboard and cut up a coffee filter. They're cheaper than dirt at the $ store or No Frills.

So next time you receive one of those e-mails with unusual things to do with stuff you have on hand....just go hmmmmm, and try something!

It's been a lazy day...brought a bunch of odds & ends out of the freezer to make for supper. J phoned and asked what we were having, so he's coming.

J, "What's for supper?"

Me, "Fish."

J, "What kind of fish?"

Me, "Fish we caught, are you coming?"

J, "What time?"

Little does he know, we're having perogies, I found a few cabbage rolls, they're cooking, a loaf of bread in the machine, and a pasta salad. OH yeah...and fish we caught last summer!

Better go, want to whip up a few more cards before I cook the fish.

This darn blog is centered, because it doesn't want to move to the left!

I've been driving pretty slow down this road on the way home, because I had seen her and a calf one night when it was darker out!

I was in my craft room earlier 'thinking' about doing some cards. I was just 'thinking' about it, because it seems like everything on TV right now is a repeat!

Is it because of the Olympics?

I did finish the card and gift bag I wanted to make.

I am getting this border punch free with my goodies this week!

This last one has vellum! I just LOVE using vellum.

I'm sad it was our last craft night....I'll miss getting fun stuff to play with once a month!

Oh who am I kidding....I've got a whole room full of fun stuff to play with!

And I'm going to GP next week....that's right...the fun never stops!

AAAANNNDDD, I have the gift certificate from mom from Christmas!

V also found me another craft store right downtown. She ordered my punches for me!

I said, "We'll have to go there."

V, "You can go there."

Me, "You'll have to show me where it is!"

I'm sure she's thrilled!

I had NO IDEA there was another small independant SB store downtown! The only other one I knew of was acvross from the casino in that little strip mall, where Fabric Land is!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, I'm feeling much better thank you!

I've got some happy heart stuff to share!

I made & sent this to K, you know the 'ordinary seaman'! Figured it would work....wasn't all pink, lacey, and mushy.....ok maybe it's mushy!?

And I made this for V with her goodies.

And I made this for K....it held 3 caramel chocolates......you know, what with Weight Watchers & all!

I made these for the ladies at my Stamp Club....Last Monday was our last night.

Sorry I can't remember who to give credit too, but the cardstock I was supposed to use didn't work.

Probably becasue I used treat size chocolate bars. If I'd have done something bigger, cardstock would have worked! As it was, I used paper, and they turned out wonderful!

I made something similar for my co-workers.....sorry no pics!

Got bread in the bread machine.....Parmesan & Peppercorn, and I'm gonna whip up Lasagna later.

I've also been busy making Christmas cards!

I always make my cards for the season coming up, while the snow is still on the ground after Christmas!
Only because I run out of time as Christmas gets nearer.
I've also been working on my homemade cards & tags for the Cannaday/Cannady family rebellion!
I'll post a pic when I get everything done......and YES. THEY. ARE. CHRISTMAS. CARDS. AND. TAGS!

I'm also working on a gift bag, and card for a friend.

I'm on day 2 of not going to work.
I picked up an evil bug from somewhere!

The last 2 nights have been HELL! UHHHGGGG!

I've gone through 10 pairs of underwear, 3 pairs of pyjama pants, 3 blankets & one housecoat!
Sorry if that's too much information, but if I don't have spewing diarrhea I'm spewing projectiles from the other end, and I'm really getting hungry!
I had 2 pieces of toast yesterday around 2 pm. At 6:00 pm they came back up!
Today I've had a banana, crackers, and a mug of chicken broth....and they're not sitting well!
I'm trying to drink tons of water with the occasional Ginger Ale thrown in! I don't want to get dehydrated!

I've taken 5 of the 8 Imodium I'm allowed at one shot.

I have Valentine's projects that should be at the OFH!
I have a car full of AVON!
I'm also on dog detail until Sunday....but K is my backup, what a good girl!

Hey...I didn't get sick until about 9 pm on Wednesday night!
I'd already agreed to the dog detail!

Oh Bother!
I got home today (early) from my other job, and Shadow had the cone just hanging off her neck!
I should've taken a picture!
Silly me........

But we went for out walk, and on our way back to the house...I stopped at the pump house.

This is Shadow eyeballing the cone I'm fixing up.

I had to get the duct tape out of the pump house!

She's probably outside as we speak, trying to scrape the damn thing off again!

So, to recap, two new (to me anyway) uses for duct tap in the last 2 months......attaching the heat tape to the sewer pipes, and fixing the dogs cone.......cause you know I had to pay for that sucker....she's getting more than 2 days use out of it!
