Never lose a chance of saying a kind word.--William Thackeray

Halloooo peeps!
TGIF!
It was a really long week for being only 4 days long!

Waaaay back in March, before the O/S came home, I had seen a tiny little picture of an Angry Birds card at the very bottom of the Inspiration Ink blog.
I spent the weekend off & on trying to duplicate it.....you KNOW I'm an Angry Birds fan!
(I'm a gamer people.........it's how I relax!)
Anyhoo, I made this card!

Then on the following Monday, I got this in my blog updates!
hahahahaha
I'm planning on making more for Lynnette of Send a Smile 4 Kids Canada!
It was a lot of fun, and having the recipe will make them that much easier!
Kalen was so impressed he took a picture to e-mail his friends!

Just wanted you to know that the gardens are in! Yay!

The empty one has the 42 non hills of potatoes!

I had left over flowers, so in they went/plenty of room!
They have lids on them, because before everything grows, they're just HUGE kitty litter boxes!

We're hoping to make one this year half the size for the strawberries I bought!
I'm slowly replacing the shrubs Ray killed last year by fertilizing them!

Last week I was sent to the greenhouse to pick out some plants & planters for the office.
They're gonna have to send 4 guys and a picker truck!

While I was there, I found a planter I HAD. TO. HAVE!
Hey, the cement planters were half price!

It took 3 of us women to wrestle it into the back of the van!
Lookit! I still have the tarp in from Greenhouse hopping!

Then as I drove into my yard I'm thinking OMG, how am I going to get this out!?
I backed up as close as I could to where it was going to live, set a 1 X 6" on my tailgate, and kinda slid it off!
About halfway down, I thought, 'HOLY MOLY! If this gets off center it's gone!'
But I did it, and here it is behind the woodshed!
HAPPY!

Well, I gotta go it's getting late!
This is set to post tomorrow (Friday), didn't think you'd want 2 posts in one day!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Hopefully the fire ban is off & I'll be drinking beer at the fire pit!

Talk to ya later!
Ta ta for now!

You did a great job on your card but, honestly, I don't get "angry birds".
Your garden area looks fantastic. Love the raised beds. I wish gardening was easier here. When I go home to Alberta, I see that you can put seeds in the ground and stuff grows. Here, you put seeds in the ground only after you have added lots of fertilizer or rich compost. And then, if the weather cooperates, the seeds might come up. We have very poor, acidic soil.
Anyway, the weather has been good for the last while so the roof on the little house in town is almost done. Most of the drywall is done. Waiting for the cable co. to come and install new cables before we finish that. I am going to start painting the living room this week so we can install the floors so I can start moving stuff to there.
Now I am heading to the crawl space to start bringing up boxes of old clothes from the 70's and
80's. It's all going into the trash, but I want to save buttons and zippers. Have you seen all the neat things you can make with old zippers?
Talk soon.

Hi Gail! I like the pictures of your flowers. It is so nice to see something blooming this time of year.
Our yard is very pretty right now. The trees are all in bloom and I love it except for the bumblebees that get in the house.
