Positive anything is better than negative nothing. --Elbert Hubbard

Hello, haven't seen you for a while!
I've been away, got back late last Saturday night, & have been super busy........of course I have! OI!

I'll show you Vanessa's Birthday card, and a picture of a scrawny moose, then you can get on with your lives!
Cause this post will be picture heavy...........
And let me just say that having a newfangled phone means some good pictures are on there!
Soon as I get them to the cloud, I'll share more!
(And yes, I manually have to send them there, cause I DO NOT have one of 'those' phones!)

Her birthday was Tuesday.
I took her for supper at Subway!
Dropped her off; then texted her that I was coming back, as the town has supplied big garbage bins all over town for the Spring Cleanup. They had just emptied the one at the end of the street, so we cleaned out her garage!

Here's the inside of the card.
I got the big stamp on the left from Mark at
Told Vanessa she had to practice those sayings all year!

I was on my way out to the farm for potting soil earlier this week.

Here's some pictures from our trip!!!
We left Peace River on Sunday the 3rd.
Stayed at Fort Saskatchewan Sunday night.
Lethbridge, AB. Monday night.
Sandy, Utah Tuesday, and we were in Maricopa on Wednesday night!

Saw a few of these below........

These were rocks (I think) at a rest stop!
They look like dinasaur skeletons to me!

Pretty truck!

Lighthouse somewhere in land locked Utah!

Las Vegas.
We just got lunch on the south(east) side!

Our traveling companion
Charlie Brown.
He gets upset with the Dog Whisperer!

Field of corn in Arizona

Lots of solar panels on the houses there

The cacti were blooming

Covered playgrounds

We ate here!
It was awesome. I also had a spiked lemonade! YUM!

I had a blast, we did tons of stuff, and absolutely nothing.
Ate out a couple times.
Shopped til we dropped a time or 2.
Swam in the pool every day except 2 I think!
Road trips to stores, a movie, life is good!
I'll be going back!

This is what the kids did for fun while I was gone!
Built a new fence!

This is what Kalen & I did today.
A privacy wall.
The neighbors deck is about 4 feet off the ground.
The patio at Vanessa's is about 2 feet in the ground.
You can see the retaining wall we built last year.
I'll show you when we get it painted, landscaped a tad, stairs in.....
Anyhoo, even with the new fence, we were on display!
Now we're not!

Kalen said we had to atone for not being there to help with the fence!

I've worked at the Oil & Gas trade show in Peace River.
Had dinner with the gf's & Wine Night Wednesday!
I had Avon to deliver, work to catch up on, and Firepit Friday!!
I am going up the alley tomorrow to finish a little piece of fence by the front gate!
Only because the weather's lovely & I like to be outside!!
Might even get to the farm for a minute.
One of the gf's wants some perennials.

Better go!

Hope you're well!
Talk to ya later!

My dear friend, clear your mind of cant. --Samuel Johnson

Hello!
Thanks for dropping in!
I'll show you the card I made, then you can get on with your afternoon!

I made a 'keener' accordian card!
I didn't mean too, guess I'm not good at direction!
I got the inspiration here, and really; it's me, not Beate!

I was happy with how it turned out!
Hopefully the recipient is too!
The brad & eyelet are covering up a few ink misfortunes,
but they work!

It was Administrative Professional week a while ago.
Here's what I got...just gorgeous!

Also, on a wine night Wednesday I somehow got talked into doing the decorations for birthday treat bags!
One of Vanessa's friends little guy will be 4, and he likes dinosaurs!
I made 15 of these with names!
Wasn't too bad, I cut everything out, then assembled them!

The previous posts saga about Thelma & Louise commences tomorrow!
My room looks like a cyclone hit it!
Apparently packing for me means; cleaning the closet!
There are clothes all over!
On the + side, I have a big bag to donate!

I can't wait!
I'm meeting 'Thelma' at a highway junction about an hour away, then we're off!
It will take us 3 days minimum!
I'm hoping we can play tourist and take our time!
Here's a map!
It'll be an adventure!
They couldn't wait to get rid of me at work.
I think the parting words were;
"Have a great trip, don't worry about ANY.THING.
You can fix it when you get back!"
Hahahaha!

I'll be home for 3 weeks, then off again to pick up mom for the Amish Auction Sale in Montana!!

Hope you're all well!
Talk to ya later!
