“Every now and then I like to do as I’m told, just to confuse people.” Tamora Pierce

I have made my Halloween cards.

I can (sort of) sit at my desk.

Have to ease into the knee bending part!

Yesterday I made a Christmas card, you'll have to wait for that one!

Bryson's

Kalen's

These 2 were an easy fun fold I found here!

Vanessa & Harley's

That one was going to be Bryson's, but my pumpkins were scary!

Mom's

There!

Hopefully I have a couple in the drawer for the aunts, as that's where we are going for supper tonight! I made my famous double layer pumpkin pie! You can find the recipe here!

I AM going to work tomorrow.

Going to see how I make out. I will still be hooked up at home in case I can't sit.

We went out last night for a turkey dinner at a pub. It was cold, but I ate everything cause I was starving!

We have had 9 viewings for our property. I think the drawback is that it's only a 2 bedroom, so we miss out on the families wanting to have a couple acres. We need a semi retired couple, or younger retired couple who want to putter!

I also filled out a survey for our Wildlife Centre here.

I won a painting (my choice) from portrait painters! Guess it will have to be Bryson! I will contact them this week!

Better go, talk to ya later!

Stay safe!

If you judge people, you have no time to love them. ~Mother Teresa

Well, it has definately been a long summer for me!

My friends say I didn't miss a thing, not getting outside much. It was smokey & hot, one even said brutal!

I will show you the card I made for Mr B's 5th birthday, then you can get on with your day!

I can finally sit at my desk, so will be making a few Halloween cards!

I got it off of Pinterest! Of course I did!

I have been working from home since the middle of July. For the last week I have been sitting in a normal dining room chair instead of the wheelchair.

I have made an appointment for a sorely needed haircut (it's like Covid hair all over again) for Thursday, and am hoping to get a pedicure that day too. And, I will be driving myself! I haven't driven since before my surgery, but I am confident my leg and knee bends enough that I can drive. If that works, I think I will go back to work after Thanksgiving. The physiotherapist is coming again on October 13th, so I am kinda hoping to impress her!
The kids came to visit for a week or so in August.

It was my birthday while they were here, and moms the day after they left.

Kalen took a day or 2 off work and they went to the top of a mountain, and went to a waterfall in the other direction. A couple hikes.

I stayed home.

Bryson said that I can cook better in a wheelchair than his mom can. I had a hard time getting stuff OUT of the oven, but someone always came along! I have the greatest friends and family!

His parents left him here for 2 days and nights while they went for a getaway about 4 hours from here.

Ate fruit (peaches) off the tree, read books, and watched movies!

Sorry this one is sideways. He told me it was hard to drive!

Then we took him about  3 hours from here, into Alberta to meet his parents, so they could be on their way home.

My brother met us there. He's the impressed looking guy in the middle. We had pizza and water. Was a really hot day, but I wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought I would be. It was nice to get out!

 Then this happened.

I got to ditch the boot, and the splint! And I got to SHOWER! Don't take anything for granted!

Kalen DID get a few birdhouse gourds. They're in the house drying. A couple loofah are in here too!
I couldn't help with anything for 3 months, so was overwhelming, and didn't get watered & looked after like they should have. Oh well!

So, this guy started kindergarten! WHAT! And will be 5 next month!

And, he has a new cousin!

A little girl named Addison.

And we still Facetime!

Hahahaha. And I'll leave you with that!

Talk to you later!

Stay safe!
