I don't know where to start.

Life's been getting in the way! A. Lot!

Went to the family reunion in July. The kids always say "mom, turn your phone on and let her tell you where to go."

Well, that's what I'm afraid of!

Once, she said "In 50 metres......"

Seriously, what happened to "in 800 metres....400 metres...?"

I think she was mad at me!

Anyhoo, got there & back. Fun was had by all!

Seen a few movies. Finding Dory, The Secret Life of Pets, & Bad Moms. Tuesday we're going to BFG.

Been garage saling!

Cooking, baking, canning. 

Vanessa & I made Dill Pickles, Blueberry Jam, Cherry Jam, and froze a ton of Strawberries. We've also been making freezer meals (damn you Pinterest) for when the baby comes!

If I ever get my $#it together today, the fruit truck is in town, and there's a few more garage sales.

Laundry's on the go. I need to clean my table off; Vanessa made a mini scrapbook for a friend that's moving. Didn't take a picture, but she does a good job!

I have some Halloween projects on the table somewhere, and I need an encouragement card.

I'll show you pictures of what I've been doing, then you can go on with your day! Sorry to make you worry about where I've been. The emails mean a lot to me!

This picture was when the kids & I went shopping in GP at the end of July.

Vanessa's significant other won the toy box battle!

She wanted a basket for toys.

They got this trunk!

I didn't help by saying I thought it was perfect!

 We went to a wedding shower in July too.

This was my mom's birthday card this year.

My lighting is terrible.

 

 My Stampin' Up rep emailed us all, and said she was putting in an order, did we need anything?

I hadn't even looked at my new catalogue.

I got to page 14, decided I had that stuff, and my mom needed a card.

Nope, I haven't looked further than that in the catalogue!

This next card was for one of my BFF's.

Funny story: I have another one of these Dahlia Fold flowers somewhere in my house!

I packed it off cause I thought I might need  green to go with.

Ended up using coral, and had to make another flower!

Still haven't found it!

 

I've just been majorly distracted.

I really want to carry on, and be me.

In other news, Vanessa has proudly got me a car seat, and a playpen.

Hahaha, think I'll be babysitting more than I know!

Still doing Sunday suppers, Monday suppers at Harleys' grandpas!

Now, I'd better go get dressed, and get stuff done on this rainy day!

Been raining all week! 

We actually have a pool going at work for how much rain we'll get by tomorrow morning!

I woke up this morning with a headache and runny nose!

Happy Saturday peeps!

It's all good, and I hate to repeat myself, but life is really getting in the way this year.
I'd say summer.......but.......... (insert maniacal laughter here!)

Since I posted last I have had

- Vanessa's birthday supper

 

She got her quilt from last years Amish Auction sale

 

We got a puppy at work....her name is Cardi, (short for Bacardi), no we didn't get to name her.

She likes to sleep in the boot tray, and yes, her face is in my shoe!

 

 

 

I got the lawn mower stuck..........hahahahaha

 

 

Made a card for a shower!!

 

 

I've also:

 

- Took the seniors at the home to the 2 local greenhouses to get their flowers

- Drove the handivan for the community run

- I DID get the lawn mowing & whipper snipping done

- Sprayed the dandelions/ I'll be doing that again....tis the season

- Been to Peace River with Ray for an appointment

- Went with Vanessa to the lawyer (twice) to sign Kalen's mortgage over to her

- Been on the phone trying to get my cracked window replaced before warranty is off

- Was on the phone with the satellite people, cause both receivers quit one week;

we had no TV for almost 2 weeks, which didn't affect me! 

- Planted the garden

- Wednesday dinners with the gf's

- Firepit Fridays

- Caught my fingers in a log when I was using the wood splitter

And a million other things too numerous to mention!

 

Today on the agenda is:

 

The shower I made the aforementioned card for

Building a garbage stand for the house in town

Shopping at the hardware store

Buying some peonies & strawberries.....mine winterkilled!

I'm sure there's a firepit in there somewhere.....with a beverage!

 

Better go, the laundry awaits!
