In a gentle way, you can shake the world.- Mahatma Gandhi

I skipped a week!
I did make cards though!
Good thing my family doesn't follow my blog!
I made these limited edition Easter cards!

 It's Bryson's hand!
He's not really a co-operative crafter!
He's an, I'd like to hold the pencil, and why can't I have that piece of paper kind of little dude!
They did turn out great though.
I gave one to his parents; Love Bryson, and his dad asked when he had the time to make cards!
Finding the feathers was a chore! I ran into Michaels when I was in GP, and couldn't find what I wanted!
Stopped at a $ store on the way to Grimshaw, and found bags and bags of feathers for cheap!

I went to GP for the Johnny Reid concert last week.
But not before I went to emergency at the hospital the Thursday night before!
I've felt horrible forever! That day my throat & ears hurt.
I have had a dry hacking cough for 7 WEEKS!
Ended up it was a bronchial infection in the large tubes from the lungs, AND a sinus infection.
Goodness!
I did have a doctors appointment in there, and he asked how long I had the cough; at that time I said 12 days, and nothing else was said about it!
My throat & ears hurt from coughing!
I got antibiotics, a puffer, and horrible cough medicine!
Ok. It did work. I feel tons better!

Anyhoo, the Saturday morning after the concert I was in Grimshaw to make this!

Vanessa wouldn't let me use "Oh The Places You'll Go."
Fixed her though, the letter font used here is the 'Dr. Suess' font!
Haha!

I've also made treat bags for my peeps for the monthly meeting. (Those of you that read this, and attend the monthly meeting better not blab!)
Also, the ladies at the post office, and my hairdresser!

They hold a treat & a tea bag.
The following ones are waiting for a tea bag. Apparently I drink a lot of loose tea, or they don't come in individual packages! They're on the list!

There you have it!
I have also been checking my friends house, who retired and decided to spend the winter in Arizona.
I have done laundry, baked, cooked supper at Vanessa's last night, and then babysat while they went out to drink green beer!
The kids spent the day at the ski hill, as it's warming up, and this might be the last weekend.
I'm working on my cards for our family rebellions silent auction this summer.
I'll need another day!

I also started some home made vanilla!
Yeah, I got nothin better to do!
I do have to get more vodka & vanilla beans!

Ok, you got me! I took this bottle out of the bar at work, and I may or may not have mixed 2 black rums together! Haha!

This week will be busy!
People are holidaying at work & it's payroll.
I don't work Monday; and Tuesday I have a meeting in PR, and a dentist appointment.
There's 2 days shot! For work anyway!
Tomorrow is my grandparenting day!
I think we need to start going to mini gym.
It's at the elementary school a couple blocks away Monday mornings.
It's for pre school age children.

Better go!
Hope you're all well!
Talk to ya later!

Go The Extra Mile, It's Never Crowded.

I am on a role.
OK, one card a week isn't really a role, but it is for me right now!

Every weekday, and sometimes on the weekends I text my kids:
"Have a great day! Be a good one!" That includes Vanessa, Kalen, the SIL, and one cousin; who always tells me what she's going to be good at that day, or what she's already been good at that morning!

As in "Whatever you are, be a good one."
When I looked that up, it says it's a quote from Abraham Lincoln!

Anyhoo, I made a card for Kalen, who is dealing with First World problems right now. I've had these 'Crazy Birds' for a while.
I always want to call them Angry Birds! I'm an addict, I have an angry birds game on my phone!
I digress....looking through my stamps, (which is no small feat), I found the perfect one for his card. I have no idea who made it, it's quite a large acrylic sheet with stamps on it. And it stamped perfectly!!

Hopefully it's a big hit when he gets it!

I also found a different place to water mark my pictures; you know, so it doesn't look like I'm pirating the images with the copyright etc., on my pictures.
It's Water Marquee, just check it out! It's free, nothing to download!
I'd uninstall the one I had but I'm afraid my images will disappear!

This is what my table looked like yesterday!
Vanessa made me take the Easter candy home so they wouldn't eat it at their place!
So I stuffed the eggs for Bryson's daycare!
You know, so I wouldn't eat all the Easter candy!

I attached the 'From Bryson' to the bottom of the egg with a glue dot. Hopefully the children are supervised when they open them!!

That's it for me for today!
Going to find a movie or something!

Hope you're all well!
Talk to ya later!

Don't quit. Take a break, rest if you must then go for it. Don't quit.

Hello!
Nice to see you!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter!

I had my visit with the surgeon on March 22. As soon as he started saying "We'll talk about it...." I almost cried! I said, the screws have to come out, I can't live with the pain! And I have a very high pain tolerance! My poor foot has been swollen and bruised since the surgery. It's not a happy foot!
He said that they would get a hold of me within a couple weeks, and he'd remove the hardware. Next Tuesday will be 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything.
I'm going to have a local anesthetic. Call me crazy, but if they put me to sleep, he might as well redo the operation like he wants to! That would be the third time, and I just can't!

I forgot to take a picture of the treats I made my peeps and the kids of the bosses at work for Easter until I had them packed up to deliver.

So again, I was treated to an artful Thank You!
Just makes me smile!

One of my friends gave me this coffee mug!
It makes me smile too!
There's a normal mug next to it!

I bought the following on the local Buy, Sell, Trade for $20.
I've been wanting to make my own laundry soap for some time.
You know how it goes; do the research, make a list.....and that's it!
Anyhoo, at my local grocery store the Arm & Hammer, and the Oxi Clean added up to over $20. The lady I bought this from even gave me her grater for the bar soap!

The geese are back! I've been hearing them at night, but didn't see them until today!
I'm working on some cards. I'll need one for an 8 year old next week!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Talk to ya later!
Hope you're well!
