It's still cold! Another 2 days I think! The weatherman keeps changing his mind....anyhoo, today was tropical compared to the last 2 and it was still -20C something! Warmed up 10-15 degrees from the previous 2 days!

Wowsers! Must be the NEW year! Lots of challenges want 'new stuff'! This is a fun little set! It also has a skier, cabin...all outdoorsy! And the stencil is so cool!
Lots of water problems in the neighborhood, knock on wood! Our water lines aren't very deep...we don't usually have these crazy temperatures!! Kalen and Emma were here for supper, and Emma said her mom's water comes from a stream on the mountain, and it's the first time ever it froze! Emmas mom might be the last one on the line out of 4 or 5. Lots of times those water lines are above ground! It's a stream people, always flows down! Alberta got power yesterday from BC, Saskatchewan and Montana. Manning my home town in northern Alberta was the coldest place on earth yesterday morning! That's not a record anyone wants to break!!

I agree with you that the best thing we can do right now is to get started on our holiday cards for next year. I never like making winter cards when it hot outside!
