You are what you are today, because of the decisions and the choices YOU made yesterday. - Rev. Wayne Goonie

Well, three challenges in a week...aren't you impressed?!
Not doing that this week!

Here's a Halloween card I made; I'll get it in now, so if you've come to see what I've been creating you won't have to read the rest of the post!

Now we're going to get picture heavy.......still with me!?

This was the sunrise on Sunday.

A little blurry; now here's a picture of the moon!
It was still up in the west!

It's blurry too......I think I was up too early!

I got a picture of cranes.

This guy was in the back yard.

I had 2 meetings last week, dinner with the gf's, a cultural something I went to Friday night with another gf, and Ray & I hauled wood all weekend!
Makes me think of that saying "No matter how you feel get up, dress up, and show up."

It's that time of the year! For wood hauling; though if I had it my way it would be cut & hauled all summer, and we wouldn't have this last minute dash to fill the woodshed!
I did manage to get the laundry done, and Saturday threw stew in the slow cooker, and a loaf of bread in the machine, and that's what we ate all weekend...and fruit!
Don't know if we'll get to use the outdoor furnace!
I need a plumber & electrician, and MR. Procrastination has left things til the last minute!

It was lovely all weekend!

These portulaca are still blooming their little faces off! They don't know it's October!

Here's the empti-ish woodshed.

Here's how we're 'logging' this year at the Luck household!

I'm in the bush, cause it's my job to tie the chains & wrappers to the trees.
WHY you ask is it MY job?
That's what I was asking myself after this tree came down right beside me!

OK, so it's dead, and not very big, pretty sure I'd have had a headache!

It's hard work,it was hot; and everyone needed a drink!

She was very appreciative!
And smiled for the camera!

I found this!

Took pictures of foliage.

The clouds were amazing....

A cat hiding from Shadow in a pipe when we unloaded wood.

So far this week I've had one meeting, dinner with the gf's X 2, went grocery shopping, & a funeral;  it's only Wednesday!
I've realized I need a waaaay bigger stash of Sympathy cards.
In a small town, you know the whole family, and I always want them to know I'm thinking of them!
The kids will be home this weekend, it's our Thanksgiving, and Ray's uncle is having an 80th birthday party on Saturday!
I told him he had to go, his uncle isn't getting any younger, the kids want me to cook the turkey on Saturday, cause they're leaving Sunday, so I guess Ray'll get leftovers!
Don't worry, Thanksgiving dinner will be spectacular, cause "No matter how I feel I will get up, dress up and show up!"
I have big plans for the holiday Monday; and let me just say it involves a whole lotta card making!
In my dreams! We'll probably be hauling wood!

I also have not got one of my bosses & his wife a baby gift!
I gave them a card, but I've got something in my head, and that's what I want to get!!!
Is that a BAD thing?
Pretty sure the kid's outfitted until he's 5!

It was pretty darn cold here the last few nights!
Supposed to warm up for the long weekend!

I put some links to blog candy on the right of the blog....hopefully they're all current!

And Myrna, this last picture is for you!
I have several POTD!

It will all get put away after Monday.....I hope!

Hope you're all well!
Talk to ya later!

Ta ta for now!
