I finished my Welcome Sign I've been working on at Friday night craft night!
If we can't have Firepit Friday, we need to do something to keep busy so we stay out of trouble!!
And it's a blurry picture....learning how to use my phone!
The "WELCOME" letters really aren't crooked!
These turned out so great!
Below is mine on the left, and my friend Peggy's on the right!
I'm always amazed at what happens when you start out with the same materials!
We're also not sure why her tall sunflower is taller than mine!
(I might have drilled the hole deeper for my sunflower stem to sit in!)
I'm making another one (of course it will be totally different), and so are 2 of the other girls.
They started coming to supervise, and now will be making one of these!
I think they were pleasantly surprised at how awesome these turned out!
Peggy is starting her work on painting the panels of an old toboggan for outside!
The Northern Lights this past week were phenomenal
between 4-5 am! Don't ask how I know!
I don't have a camera good enough to take pictures, but this guy did, and I'm hoping you can make this link work!
They honestly look like that.
If they ever happened in the summer, you could lay on the grass for the show; it's just a tad cool for that; they really are spectacular!
Just makes me smile!
When the sky is lit up like that, you just don't know where to look!
Vanessa's counting the days for the rod coming out of my toe, and getting her entryway painted at her house!
We also made Beer Can Chicken on the BBQ last Sunday, and it turned out wonderful!
I have a picture on my phone, but click on the link above, it pretty much looked like that!
Must go finish the laundry, and finish preparing for Sunday Supper!

I did get that link to work and after I got control of the shivers the pictures sent don my spine, I became a follower... Fantastic! Are chances it's that intense highest at this time of year? Love your welcome sign - and good to know you keep out of trouble ;-)
Your WELCOME sign is adorable Gail ... nice job. You are soooo lucky to be able to view the northern lights as seeing them are on my bucket list. And bear can chicken ... my gawd you sure know how to live girl!
This is absolutely darling. I'm awed that you not only craft cards, but all these 3D projects too. What a handy person you are! This will look so pretty outside a front door to welcome your guests, or on a patio, or just inside your front door! Good luck with the next milestone on the toe journey. Well by golly-you have been so productive even while having an ouchie! This is very cool. I LOVE woodworking and this is such a great project!
What a darlin' sign this is! I agree with you Gail..get everyone the same and they always turn out different..
Sound as though you are going to be busy once you get more mobile lol.
