It's the most wonderful time of the year!

HALLOWEEN! 

The weather's been pretty darn nice, so after all my errands, hair appointment, laundry, etc. I just might trot up the alley and put out Vanessa's Halloween stuff! (Decorations, blow up pumpkin and all the rest!) She's less than 3 weeks away from delivering!

When I got the May 2016 Paper Pumpkin I knew what I wanted to do.
No, I don't always follow the instructions that come with...who does? 

The triangles reminded me of pumpkin faces, so I made 3 different shaker cards!

Which malfunctioned, big time!
I bought dimensional strips at the $ store.
Don't. Do. That.
I had to glue them as my 2 sided tape wouldn't stick; oh it was a gong show, but I was happy with the end result, and so were the recipients! Sorry about the glare! And yeah, I'm still cleaning up Halloween chunky glitter!
I've stuck all my $ store dimensional into zip lock baggies. Maybe that will help.

Went to 2 movies this week!
Sully, which was an excellent movie, go see it!
Last night we went to Storks, which was pretty cute. 
I told Vanessa if she wanted a baby, all she had to do was write a letter, which got a "haha!"

Better go, trying to clean up my little hovel!
Making treats for my peeps, should be done this weekend!
I'm already taking the ones to the hairdressers!
Can cross them off the list!

Today I'm Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving weekend Canadian peeps!

I've already been down the back alley to put the turkey in Vanessa's oven!
Potatoes are ready for the oven, sweet potato casserole, carrots, salad, and pie are all finished!
I just have to find a minute to make 2 more Double Layer Pumpkin Pies for tomorrow!
I've hung a mirror, did laundry & the dishes! More.Than.Once!
I also delivered a piece of pie I traded for 'real' cranberries!
We only have one grocery store, and they either ran out, or didn't order any!
This past Friday was too cold for Firepit, we tried it, then went in!
We have crafts planned for whoever wants to play along!
I am happy to say that last week I FINALLY finished my second Welcome Sign. First one is here! 

This one is living at Vanessa's.
I made Thanksgiving cards!
They've all arrived at their destinations!

We had a heavy wet snow last weekend, and it's snowing now.
Not all the farmers were finished. They're still hoping it warms up, or at least stops snowing so they can get crops off!
I just seen a huge flock of cranes going over.
The geese are still around, and the silly robins!
Supposed to be lots of snow this winter!

That's all I got!
Been cleaning my craft area, sorting & labeling stamps.
