Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right! --Henry Ford

Just a note to tell you what's going on in the life of Gail!
And before I forget, the owl in this post is a Barred Owl!

I've had a make work kinda day!
It's Family Day here in Alberta, so no work!!! (At least at my paid job!)

It started with me using the electric frying pan the kids got me for Christmas!

I had to find a place for it, which led to cleaning out the
Seldom Used Appliance Cupboard!
I tossed about half of the recycled plastic containers!
I think that Pina Colada mix will be used at the first campfire of the season!
Which can't happen too soon!
It was unseasonably warm 2-3 days last week.
Now the parking lot, and all my nicely snowblown paths are skating rinks!
However, I digress.......

I then decided I needed to catch up on my scrapbooking the pictures and hand crafted cards people send at Christmas........you know who you are!!!
But, I didn't want to move my coloring off my desk.
I'm on a roll!
Those are Kraftin Kimmie Stamps on the top, and I won Fridays releases!!!
Whooohooooo!

Anyhoo, I hadn't scrapbooked 2011 yet!
I. KNOW. RIGHT!
Slacker!

So I did sonething I swore I wouldn't do when I got my craft room.......
I hauled all my stuff to the kitchen table!

Don't worry, I'm done!
2011 AND 2012!
Ray had to go to work, he'll never know!

I've finished all the chores, had supper,
I had a roast in the slow cooker,
now I'm going to see what's on TV and color some more.......
oh yeah, I've got 2 chalkboard technique cards on the go too!

I DID make a card or 2 or 3 this week........here's one!

Kept it kinda flat for mailing...............
got the inspiration over here,
and she got it from here!

I think my mom might need some more Thank You cards, and I'll be going in June.
We're going to the Amish Auction Sale! AGAIN!
Making the chalkboard cards as invites for the Aunts.

Better go!
Hope you're all well!
Talk to ya later!
Ta ta for now!

You got a fry pan for Christmas too, how funny, me too.
    Great card.
I still haven't tried one of those yet. Soon.
I keep trying to get my friends to go to the Amish Auction but their work schedule interferes.

  2. Looks like you had a busy "day off". Congrats on the win. I haven't entered any contests for a while but will start again once I am organized.
Your card is very pretty. I have made a couple with that fold.
Btw, thanks for the Christmas eek card. It was so cute. We had a great Christmas on Saturday. The kids were all there. I guess it does not really matter what day a person celebrates as long as everyone can be together and enjoy themselves.

  9. Congratulations! On your win, on your gorgeous card, on getting the seldom used appliance cupboard sorted out (mine's still waiting for ACTION), on getting the scrapbooks 2011 and 2012 done - my gosh, you were on a roll! Had a visitor here who got me hooked on DOWNTON ABBEY so heaven knows when I will get to crafting again...
