Warning: This post may contain Christmas cards!
Over at CCAYR this month,
the challenge is:
Hearts
& Flowers Red & White.
Seeing this
is Valentine's month we want to see a red and white Christmas card incorporating
hearts and flowers.
Here's mine.......
I started out making 6, then couldn't get the cut fold right! hahahaha
I think these are gate fold cards!
There are 4 that turned out!
I hesitated about putting a sentiment on the front.......
yesnoyesnoyesno.......
I decided NO, and put this on the inside!
I thought the word "LOVE" should be there somewhere...
this being February, with Valentines Day & all!
Keeping with the red & white & hearts & flowers!
Enjoy!
Welcome Amy!
You probably won't learn anything here, but you might get a laugh or 2!
Talk to ya later!
Ta ta for now!

ReplyDeleteVery nice!!! I made one of those type of poinsettia cards before and I know how much work it is. Bravo!!!
ReplyDeleteGail, love the snowflake and poinsettia combo for the red and white card.

Thanks for the warning, but I didn't heed it. . .I'd enjoy the card more if it were DECEMBER! LOL I went to Joanne Fabrics last week and saw that they had bunches of Christmas crap still out at 90% off and I wanted to puke when I saw it. . .Hope you are staying safe and warm! Hugs, Curt
ReplyDeleteYou have added the twist of valentines day in a Christmas card perfectly x

Very pretty card! Love how you used hearts on a Christmas card. Nice ones to add to your stash!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card - and you really got going, making four of them! I can't wait to get back to crafting, too... Back in Germany at -2°C and some snow. I admit: after the 33°C at 6pm last night, it wasn't easy to deal with. But I'm positive I will soon adjust ;-)
ReplyDeletebeautiful! i love the dies and the heart embossing folder and the texture it gives to the poinsettia. i really like the offset gatefold.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Gail! You did a fantastic job! Glad to see that someone other than I does the hesitation thing before completing something!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome weekend!
Hugz,
Sheree
