Hope you're all well, and having a great weekend!
Welcome Queenie Jeannie!
Not sure if you`ll learn anything here, but you might get a laugh or 2!
I'm waiting for it to warm up (HA!) before I go fire up the snow blower!
Yeah, I blew snow last Saturday, and shoveled twice this week in between............
It was supposed to be -6 today, it's -20 something, and I can't push the electric start button on the snow blower if it's more than 20 below!
I can hear you saying "Oh dear, tsk tsk.......she only has to push a button"!
The button is about the size of a dime, and it's FROZEN people!
I don`t know why the start button can`t be as big as the primer button....about 1 1/2 inches!
Anyhoo, had dinner out with the gf`s twice this week....different gf`s!
One group meets every Wednesday, and the other decided we`d meet the last Tuesday of the month, and who ever could come, would just show up!
We`d also take in a movie if there was one playing that night!
With all the texting & emailing these days, I think people loose sight of what`s important, and staying in touch IN person IS important!
The laughter & stories are just better in person!!!!
I`ve got to find a resignation letter on the internet.
Monday will be my last meeting for the FCSS. Family & Community Support Services.
I`ve been on that board 10 years, figure I`ve done my time! hahahahaha
All the snow blowing & shoveling this week has cut into my craft time, but I DID make a couple cards last night!
Oh, I also made this first one last weekend, cause Kalen said his room mate was grumpy, and it`d cheer him up if I made him a Valentines card! hahahaha
And it`s a crappy picture, and the `Valentine Greetings`looks blurry, and maybe the picture is blurry!
Oh well, it`s all you get, cause I already mailed it; and OMG Blogger is letting me post pictures from my computer, not having to go through Picasa, but I`m getting those French symbol thingys again!
OH sigh!
It wouldn`t be any fun if everything worked like it should all the time!
This next one I tried a chalkboard technique I saw over here!
I still have different chalkboard technique I want to try, maybe later!
I made this next one for the Stollery Kids, I`ve been looking at that funky paper on my desk for days!
Gonna make a few more different ones, and that paper will be GONE!
Of course there`s only one sheet!
Why do you ask!É
There`s that damn E thing instead of a question mark!
This next one is all over the internet;
I wanted to try it with a LARGE stamp instead of several.
I didn`t put a sentiment on it.
I thought as the occasion arose I`d use a sentiment from SU
Teeny Tiny Wishes, and insert that in the bottom right!
Alrighty,
these next 2 pics are the view out of my kitchen window,
when it`s light out! hahaha
Only on weekends am I home to see this,
but I`m pretty sure the days are getting longer by the minute!
These are Grosbeaks, all male by the looks of things.
They`re not as brave as the chickadees.
The chickadees are little terrors!
When I`m outside walking by a feeder it`s like-
``INCOMING!``
Oh all right, the hoar frost is lovely!
You should`ve seen the way it sparkled in the moonlight!!
And it doesn`t need to be shoveled! hahaha
And yes the sun is shining,
but the forecast is for cloudy tomorrow,
and snow again starting Monday! OH JOY!
Better go!
See if it`s warm enough to start the snow blower!
Talk to ya later!
Ta ta for now!
Gail
